Clutch problems

Clutch problems

My 45TD (53 plate) had a clutch replaced about 3 years and has been fine except its always been a little 'heavy' on the pedal.
Not a problem until recently but it's becoming increasingly difficult to change gear without pushing the pedal right to the floor, getting worse as the journey progresses.
The master and slave seem to be working fine and the release arm doesn't appear to be sticking. I can detatch the slave and move the arm back and forth a little quite easily although perhaps it should move more than it does?
Tried release oil but don't think this is the problem.
Is it likely to be internal?
Don't want to spend too much as the car is probably heading towards end-of-life, just wondered if a quick fix to try or at least a way of determining which component is at fault. Cheers.
